Open positions and how to apply

We’re looking for curious, driven people at every stage — from undergraduates to postdoctoral fellows — to help us understand how lipids shape the cells that build the embryo. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

Email michaelpiacentino [at] jhmi [dot] edu with your CV/resume and a short note about your interests — whether you’re looking to join the lab, collaborate, or just want to talk lipids and EMT.

Graduate students

Looking for an outstanding PhD program? Mike is a faculty member in both BCMB and CMM at Hopkins, and we’re actively recruiting graduate students through either program. CMM also offers a Master’s track for those interested.

Postdoctoral fellows

We welcome postdoctoral fellows with interests in lipid metabolism, membrane biophysics, or neural crest cell biology — reach out with your CV and a short note about your research interests and career goals.

Undergraduates

Johns Hopkins undergraduates interested in developmental biology are always welcome to join the lab and learn chick embryology and live imaging firsthand — get in touch to learn more.
